Steps to access your results
Follow these steps to access your MRCPCH FOP/TAS results:
- Go to the official RCPCH website.
- Log in with your RCPCH number and password.
- Navigate to ‘My Account’ and find the ‘Exams’ section.
- Click on ‘Your exam results’ to view your results.
RCPCH will also send an official results letter to candidates about a week after the results are available online.
About MRCPCH FOP/TAS
To earn the MRCPCH qualification, candidates must pass three theory exams, FOP/TAS and AKP, and one clinical exam. The theory exams can be taken in any order as they are nonsequential. The MRCPCH Foundation of Practice (FOP) and Theory and Science of Practice (TAS) exams are held on the same day. The FOP exam takes place in the morning and the TAS exam in the afternoon.
Format: Each paper consists of 100 Single Best Answer (SBA) questions.
Duration: Candidates have 2 hours for each paper.
The FOP exam evaluates knowledge in managing common paediatric conditions, while the TAS exam tests scientific, physiological and pharmacological principles underlying clinical care.
