What is the MRCPCH Clinical examination?
MRCPCH Clinical is the final part of the MRCPCH certification. It puts candidates through a demanding circuit of clinical examination stations to test their medical, clinical evaluation, as well as communication skills. Clearing this exam earns aspirants the coveted Membership of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health.
What is the format of the exam?
It is an OSCE-style exam with 10 stations: 4 Short Clinical, 1 Development, 1 History, 2 Communication and 2 Video stations.

What is MRCPCH?
The Membership of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health is a prestigious PG certification from the RCPCH, the governing body of Pediatricians in the UK. Recognised worldwide as a leader in Child Healthcare, their coveted certification is considered a stepping stone for global medical practice, as well as higher specialty training, etc. It consists of three theory papers and a final Clinical Examination test. The certification is divided into MRCPCH Foundation of Practice (FOP)/ Theory and Science (TAS), and MRCPCH Applied Knowledge in Practice (AKP), which they take in whichever order they prefer, as well as an in-person MRCPCH Clinical Examination. The Clinical Examination consists of 10 different stations ranging across Short Clinical, Development, History, Communication, and Video stations.
