The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health will soon close the booking window for the MRCPCH AKP January 2025 exam (Diet 1). Applications will be accepted until Monday, 11 November 2024, at 16:00 UK time. Be sure to register before the deadline if you plan to take the exam on Wednesday, 22 January 2025.

Booking for this exam session opened on 4 November 2024, with application dates varying by region.
- 4 November: Test centres in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, UAE, KSA, UK & ROI, plus online invigilation for UK, Overseas, and Hong Kong.
- 5 November: Test centres in India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
- 6 November: Test centres in Malaysia, Singapore, and Trinidad.
For candidates opting for online invigilation, applications close on Friday, 8 November 2024, at 16:00 UK time.

To register for the MRCPCH AKP, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must possess a valid primary medical qualification from a registered institution.
- Qualification should be eligible for GMC registration or recognised by the GMC for overseas institutions.
What is MRCPCH AKP?
The MRCPCH AKP exam is designed to evaluate your knowledge, understanding, and clinical decision-making against the standard of those entering the core specialist training. Questions will focus on how to identify clinical problems, consider possible diagnoses, choose appropriate common tests, and interpret their results.
