The MRCPCH FOP/TAS examination booking dates are officially here and candidates are all geared up to mark their slot for the upcoming June 2025 exams. The examination is generally held at various centres across the globe in countries including UK, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore and Trinidad.

About MRCPCH FOP/TAS:
MRCPCH FOP/ TAS are two of the three theory examinations for MRCPCH. The theory examinations are non-sequential and can be taken in any order. MRCPCH FOP (Foundation of Practice) And TAS (Theory and Science) tests the basic medical knowledge and understanding of child health practices of the candidates.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates must possess a valid Primary Medical Qualification (PMQ) from an institution registered under the General Medical Council (GMC) of the UK or recognised by the GMC.
Steps for Booking:
- Create an RCPCH account on the official website and log in with the credentials.
- Go to My Accounts, then go to Exams and click on Register or book for exams
- Now go to Bookings, then click on Available Bookings, choose your desired examination and click
- Complete the Application form and Submit the Application
Once the procedures are done and payment is completed, you will receive a confirmation email.

Date of the Examination: 25th June 2025
Booking Opening : From 7th April 2025 (09:30 UK time).
- 7th April – Bahrain, Egypt, Hong Kong (test centre), Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, KSA, UAE, UK, Remote Invigilation Overseas, Remote Invigilation UK
- 8th April – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka
- 9th April – Malaysia, Singapore, Trinidad
Applications close (online invigilation): 11th April 2025 (16:00 UK time)
Applications close (test centres): 14th April 2025 (16:00 UK time)
This is the second time the MRCPCH FOP/TAS examination is being conducted this year. There will be another opportunity to appear for the examination in October 2025.
