MRCPCH FOP/TAS: Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the MRCPCH FOP/TAS June 2026 exam, you must hold a valid Primary Medical Qualification (PMQ) that is accepted by the General Medical Council. The qualification that you hold should be eligible for GMC registration or be recognised by the GMC if it has been obtained overseas.
What is MRCPCH FOP/TAS?
The MRCPCH FOP/TAS exam, which stands for Foundations of Practice and Theory and Science, is one of the three theory exams that you need to clear in order to obtain the membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. The theory exams, which include FOP/TAS and AKP, are non-sequential, which means that you can take them in any order.
