University topper in MBBS and gold medallist in MD (Paediatrics); Dr Gunjan Gandhi (Jain) is a passionate teacher who loves mentoring and teaching. She is well trained in Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Programme (NRP) and is a trainer for Risk Stratification, Assessment, Clinical Monitoring and Early Simulation in High-Risk Neonate. She joins StudyMEDIC as a mentor for MRCPCH courses.

Dr Gunjan completed her MBBS and MD from Government Medical College and New Civil Hospital, Surat respectively. She also holds a Fellowship in Neonatology (FNNF) and the prestigious membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health – MRCPCH UK.

An expert, she is well-versed in managing various invasive procedures like intubation, ICD insertion, central line insertion etc. She also has attended various clinics like high-risk clinic, well baby clinic, pedia neuro and pedia nephrology clinic, and so on.

Currently, she is working as a consultant at Gandhi Hospital, and she got a fellowship in neonatology from KEM Hospital Pune, accredited as Level 3-A by the National Neonatology Forum of India.

Dr. K V Abhinav

MBBS, DCH, DNB (Paediatrics), MRCPCH

Dr K V Abhinav is a known paediatrician specialising in critical care. After completing his MBBS from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad; he continued his education and obtained a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from Andhra Medical College, Vishakhapatnam. Currently, he is pursuing a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiac Critical Care (PDCC) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur.

Dr Abhinav has vast experience and knowledge in Paediatric critical care which we believe to be helpful for the students with their preparation for the MRCPCH exams. He also has done a research project titled “Clinical, Epidemiological, Etiological Profile and Risk Factors Associated with Neonatal Candida Infections & Acute Outcome of Neonatal Candida Infections.”

Dr Abhinav has worked with various hospitals. Dr. Mohammed Shakkir Yousuf

A well-qualified and experienced pediatrician and neonatology specialist; Dr Mohammed Shakkir Yousuf joins StudyMEDIC as the Assistant Course Director for MRCPCH courses. An active volunteer; Dr Shakkir associates with various NGOs and conducts webinar series for the public, educating them on child development and developmental or behavioral disorders, woman rights, etc. A keen learner, he is fond of teaching and is interested in research and other academic activities.

Completing his MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, J.J.M. Medical College, Karnataka; Dr Shakkir Yousuf finished his DNB from Kochi Medical Trust Hospital, Kerala and DCH from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, Mangalore, India. Dr. Ibrahim Mustafa Mahmoud Mustafa

An NICU and pediatric specialist with long 16 years of experience; Dr Ibrahim Mustafa Mahmoud Mustafa possesses extensive knowledge and expertise in the field. Dr Ibrahim completed his MBBCH from Alazhar Faculty of Medicine. An ardent learner, he obtained DCH and MRCPCH membership in due course of time.

Over the years, he has worked as a neonatologist with various top hospitals including Al-Noor Specialist Hospital and Maternity and Children Hospital in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Saudi Arabia. He also has experience working in Primary Healthcare (PHC) in Egypt, and he was a trainee doctor at Al-Azhar University Hospital.
