MRCPCH stands for Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. It is a prestigious qualification required for pediatricians in training in the UK and recognized internationally. The MRCPCH examination consists of three theory exams and one clinical exam. Theory examinations can be taken in any order and are non-sequential. Candidates must pass the three theory examinations before they can sit the MRCPCH Clinical examination.
Candidates can apply to take Foundation Of Practice (FOP) and Theory And Science (TAS) on the same day; FOP is always in the morning, and TAS in the afternoon.

To apply for the MRCPCH (Membership exam) or DCH (Diploma in Child Health), you first need to register for exams. You just need to do this once. You need an RCPCH online account (with an RCPCH number).
After completing your MBBS degree, you need to gain some work experience in paediatrics. This can be done by working as a house officer or a resident doctor in a paediatric ward. * *Register for the MRCPCH exam:* Once you have gained some work experience, you can register for the MRCPCH exam.

Candidates will normally take the three theory examinations on a computer at a test centre, though other options of exam delivery are open to candidates. Theory examinations can be taken in any order and are non-sequential. There are usually three sittings of each exam per year. Candidates must pass the three theory examinations before they can sit the MRCPCH Clinical examination.
There is no fixed passing or failing percentage for the theory exams. However, one of the theory exams has to be passed in the last seven years while applying for the MRCPCH clinical exam. Besides, candidates have to secure 63% and above to pass the clinical exam and get the membership.
