MRCPCH FOP/TAS diet 3 exam booking opens August 5: Don’t miss out!

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) will be opening the booking window for the MRCPCH FOP/TAS October 2024 (Diet 3) examination on August 5. Here’s a quick breakdown of the application deadlines for the upcoming MRCPCH FOP/TAS exam.

Important dates to remember

Exam date: 16 October 2024

Applications open: From 5 August 2024 (09:30 UK time)

• 5 August- Test centres in Bahrain, Egypt, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, UAE and Online Invigilation (UK and overseas)
• 6 August- Test centres in India and Pakistan
• 7 August- Test centres in Malaysia, Singapore and the UK

Applications close: (all at 16:00 UK time)

• 9 August 2024- Online invigilation (UK and overseas)
• 15 August 2024- Test centres (UK and overseas)

Eligibility criteria for MRCPCH FOP/TAS

The eligibility criteria to register for the MRCPCH FOP/TAS exams are:

• Candidates must hold a valid primary medical qualification from a registered institution.
• The qualification should be eligible for GMC registration or recognised by the GMC for overseas institutions.

MRCPCH exam pattern

The MRCPCH exam is divided into four parts: three theory exams and one clinical exam. The theory components are MRCPCH FOP/TAS and MRCPCH AKP, which can be taken in any order as they are non-sequential. Candidates must pass all three theory exams before applying for the MRCPCH Clinical.
